‘Too much is the Point’ | Open Edition

The most interesting things about this piece is how I found her name. I felt like I had gone slightly calmer on this piece until I posted her on social media and some people commented “too much, a lot going on”. Then mind goes ‘why do I feel like it’s less? Also I did leave more white space that I usually do. I could still do more but my gut felt it was complete

The wild realization that I am actually being myself happened when I took that those comments as compliments and not a reason to shrink myself to please others.
